Marker Duke Ski Binding 2011

The NEW Marker Duke Ski Binding is part of the Marker Royal Family - Models are designed with and for pro riders and withstand the toughest conditions and athlete demands. The Marker Duke shares technology with Marker's alpine bindings but the unit is the fruit of two years in research and development.
The NEW Marker Duke Alpine Touring Ski Binding is the most exciting binding out in years. As skiers ride more epic runs, hit bigger air and push further into the backcountry, they need bindings that can keep up and perform. Developed with the “Easy Releasable Climbing Aid” feature, The Marker Duke is the only choice for big mountain shredders who’re looking to tap into those remote, legendary spots with the knowledge that their bindings will not only get them up, but get them back down the mountain in safety.
With a toe piece that is connected with four screws instead of three, low-level stand height (34mm w/o ski), and contact points directly under the sole holder axis for perfect power transfer, the Marker Duke promises the ideal binding for spins and twists. With 21 mm toe and 23 mm heel level stances and consistent balance point, it’s also a breeze for switch and standard skiing.
Backcountry Technology:
Uphill hiking mode: featuring easy adjustment from ride to hike. The hiking aid offers a 5 and 10 degree position. In ski mode the BCT lever is protected from unwanted releases. A 40 mm backward movement of the binding in BC mode results in a better balanced swing weight and easier kick turns. Integrated climbing aid easily deploys when things get steep.
Compatibility: 110mm brakes fit skis with up to 110mm waist (center width)
2 Sizes: 265-325mm (SM) and 305-365mm (LG)
